This document quickly describes a java tool that could be used on "tcp trace files" (pcap format) to follow Remote Invocation Method (RMI) interactions between clients and object servers. Method names are displayed in plain text for hash based operations numbers. Parameters and results are deserialized as best. A plugin for Ethereal (Wireshark) with similar features is also proposed. Note: indeed this report is an end of year project report of a computer science engineering school student (internship).
