Résumé : One of the characteristics of this age - information and knowledge age - is information overload and increase in multimedia information. Managing the increasing growth of multimedia information still poses some problems. The challenge is to propose relevant information to users among the large volume of multimedia information. Our approach consists in exploiting context awareness and annotation process to support multimedia information retrieval by supporting appropriate user-system interaction paradigms in order to better respond to user's multimedia information need.
