Modeling actin cable contraction
Computer and mathematics with applications 64, 3 (2012) 310-321
Abstract: We present a simple mathematical model for simulating the movement of an actin cable that is attached to an external epithelial tissue, like in the case of the boundary of an epidermal wound. We focus on the case of non homogeneous forces for wound healing and for dorsal closure of drosophila.
