Thermodynamic form of the equation of motion for perfect fluids of grade n

Abstract: We propose a thermodynamic form of the equation of motion for perfect fluids of grade n which generalizes the one given by J. Serrin in the case of perfectly compressible fluids. First integrals and circulation theorems are deduced and a classification of the flows is given.
