Les soins palliatifs et le judaïsme

Abstract : « I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live » (Deutéronome 30, 19) This injunction of Deuteronomy, simultaneously expressing the priority given to life and the possibility of choice, is the essence of Jewish ethical thought, especially medical thought, even and especially when confronted with the imminence of death.
