The Integrated Platform for the European Research Infrastructure ON Culture Heritage IPERION CH launches Calls for proposals twice a year.
Proposals are addressed to three advanced transnational platforms ARCHLAB, FIXLAB and MOLAB.
The access is offered to:
Archives in European museums or conservation institutes (ARCHLAB);
Advanced mobile analytical instrumentations for in-situ non-invasive measurements (MOLAB);
Integrated platforms where large scale facilities are coupled with medium scale installations (FIXLAB).

Organized in the framework of the EU-Horizon2020 project IPERION-CH, the two-day International Symposium on "Cultural Heritage and Data: the Role of Research Infrastructures" aims at celebrating the outcomes of the transatlantic dialogue in the Heritage Science.
Participants will be led into this scientific cross-cutting domain embracing a wide range of research disciplines supporting the various aspects of tangible and intangible cultural heritage conservation, interpretation and management.
EU and US experts will present and discuss about the different tools that can support and provide a model of international integration including, among others:
The current state of on-going EU/US initiatives in the Science heritage field;
Education and Training related activities;
Innovative instruments and methods for integrated approaches to cultural heritage analysis and diagnostics;
Advancing diagnostics for intervention in conservation;
Digital Heritage.
Please note that the symposium will take place on the 5th December at the Library of Congress (Madison Building, Mumford Room, 6th Floor, 101 Independence Avenue SE) and on the 6th at the S. Dillon Ripley Center, Smithsonian Institution (1100 Jefferson Drive SW) in Washington.

The 1st IPERION CH Doctoral Summer School (IDS3) will be held in Madrid, Spain, from 12th to 15th
The 1st IPERION CH Doctoral Summer School (IDS3) will be held in Madrid, Spain, from 12th to 15th July 2016. It is organized by the Spanish node of IPERION CH (CSIC, IPCE and Prado), with the aim of providing advanced lectures focused on analytical and diagnostic tools for the evaluation of current state of conservation of artworks.
IDS3 will be aimed at potential users of the IPERION-CH TNA (post-graduate and PhD students, post-docs, conservators-restorers and conservation scientists). The School will show the results achieved by the TNA and the joint research activities (JRA) of CHARISMA, as well as their advancement within IPERION-CH.
