Abstract : Complex networks can often be divided in dense sub-networks called communities. These communities are crucial in understanding the underlying structure of these networks and may have applications in data mining or visualization for instance. In this chapter, a survey of recent advances in the definition, the detection and the analysis of these communities in the particular case of evolving networks has been carried out.
