myMed is an open source project, which facilitates and accelerates your development of mobile applications and social networks running over a heterogeneous list of platforms, such as Smartphones and Tablets running iOS and Android. myMed provides a rich framework for publishing, searching and subscribing to content: the engine is built on top of a distributed database based on the Cassandra nosql database. In its current version, it provides high scalability and fault tolerance. The myMed framework lets you easily build social web applications: it features geolocalization, points of interest, profile management, and content/user reputation.
