He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 from UPMC. He continued his work in the field of robotic manipulation during one postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratoire dAnalyse et dArchitecture des Systemes-Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France, and another at the Institut des Systemes Intelligents et de Robotique (ISIR) in UPMC.
