Langage, subjectivité et pratique: qu’appelle-t-on réalité en éducation mathématique ?

Abstract : This is an issue that questions about the use of reality in mathematics education. In a pragmatic perspective, our theory is based on Wittgenstein and Foucault - in relation to language, practice and production of subjectivities - and on the ethnomathematical French studies. Thus, we propose a normative comprehension of language and mathematics knowledge both as constituting of cultural practices and ways of thinking. In our opinion, from this understanding it will not be possible to consider the use of a pre-existing reality as empirical support for teaching of mathematics.
