Sc, A. degree in physics, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the TechnionIsrael Institute of Technology,respectively, and the B.Mus. degree in music composition from Tel-Aviv University He is on the Editorial Boards of several scientific journals.Dr. Altman has been the (co)chairman of the program committee of international conferences.He received the Best Paper Award in the Networking 2006 conference and is a coauthor of two papers that have received the Best Student Paper awards at QoFis 2000 and Networking, he has been a Researcher with the National Research Institute in Informatics and Control (INRIA) Dr. Altman has been awarded the prize France-Telecom of Académie des Sciences, 1984.
