Two Algebraic Manipulation Detection Codes Based on a Scalar Product Operation

Abstract : Algebraic manipulation detection codes were introduced in 2008 as a primitive for providing data integrity in the case of a special attack model an algebraic manipulation. In this paper two constructions of strongly secure algebraic manipulation detection codes are researched. These codes are both based on a scalar product operation in a nite eld and guarantee exibility, low complexity and high detection probability.
