Modélisation logicielle/matérielle par chaînes de Markov absorbantes des protocoles pour les réseaux de capteurs sans-fil

Abstract : In order to improve energy efficiency of wireless sensor networks, a lot of protocols have been proposed. The protocol directly affects the reliability, latency, throughput and energy efficiency of the communication and its performance is related to the hardware target on which it is run. We propose in this paper a hybrid modeling that takes into account the protocol itself and its hardware implementation. This modeling is based on absorbing Markov chains, allows to calculate analytical expressions of the energy consumption, the latency and the reliability, and therefore can be used to compare different schemes and hardware targets. Experimental measurements were performed to validate the proposed modeling
