Our study concerns mainly pictures on the first page coverture or front page of newspapers. The initial aim ofthis method is to give an answer to this question : if an object has a property, does it have another one ? (Couturier et Almouloud, 2009). Furthermore the ASI is a theoric framework which can help the researcher to confront hypothesis to the given analysis. Thus, 3 types ofoperations given by CHIC (Implicative Hierarchical Classification and Cohesitive) have been analysis will concern 6 newspapers with 2 newspapers of the French daily and general press. The study corpus will be made up of 3 free newspapers (20 Minutes, Métro and Lyon Plus) and a regional newspaper (Le Progrès). The content analysis of pictures through SIA show also the nature of narration, description and interpretation which newspapers give to the presidential campaigns. used (analysis of similarities, cohesitive analysis and analysis through implicative graph) to question and interpret the relations of quasi-implication between variables of the study. The analysis will concern 6 ewspapers with 2 newspapers of the French daily and general press. The study corpus will be made up of 3 free newspapers (20 Minutes, Métro and Lyon Plus) and a regional newspaper (Le Progrès).
