A Method to Assess Social and Human Factors of Production Innovations

Abstract : This paper examines human and social factors of production innovations. An assessment method is proposed to be used for various purposes at the enterprise level. The method is built upon a theoretically justified model that relates human and social endowments to the production innovations as well as the outcomes. The approach derives from the resource based viewing of a strategy process. The holism of assessment is assured by the consideration of crucial interdependencies, the consistency of assessment and the integrity of assessment.
