Desenvolvimento do letramento estatístico: um estudo no quadro A.S.I. na perspectiva de atitudes positivas e negativas de estudantes em relação à estatística

Abstract : This study is related to a part of the work of a thesis on the "Formation of statistical reasoning in the conceptualization of Statistical Estimation. An exploratory study of a pedagogical device in Higher Education ", which is linked, under the co-tutelage scheme, to the Postgraduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching of the Franciscan University (Santa Maria, RS - Brazil) and the Doctoral School ED485 EPIC Éducation, Psychologie, Information et Communication) in Education Sciences of Lumière Lyon 2 University of UMAR5191 ICAR. We present here a study on the influence of the positive and negative attitudes of the students, enrolled in a discipline of statistics in Higher Education, in relation to the development of statistical literacy. We focused on the study on the learning of statistical estimation to observe the evolution of statistical literacy. We base our exploration on data constructed through a questionnaire that was applied before and after the training on statistical estimation in the classroom. The questions are based on problem situations related to statistical estimation and on items from a statistical attitude’s questionnaire. The treatment, analysis and interpretations were carried out in the light of the Statistical Implication Analysis, highlighting the relations between students' attitudes and the development of statistical literacy.
