Abstract : In this document I introduce an unplugged activity to highlight the use of formal grammar. To do so I use rabbits, carrots and magic formulas. It is not widely known, but rabbits have magical powers. That's why magicians often use them in their tricks, for example to make them appear out of their hats. Everyone thinks that it is the magician who is doing the trick, but it is not. It is the rabbit. Before becoming a magician (and being able to perform), rabbits have to master magic. Before entering a real magic school, they pass on a book of formulas. Luckily, we managed to find a copy. In this book, the beginner rabbit has to learn the formulas to gather a lot of carrots to make one big one that will last all winter. And yes, rabbits are not magicians to perform, but because they need them to store their food. To do this, the rabbits have to line up their carrots in front of them and recite a magic formula. Be careful, the rabbits can't stop in the middle of their spell. It is impossible to touch the carrots, otherwise the magic disappears and the beginner rabbit is left with his original carrots. Therefore, the formulas are applied to carrots to transform them. The formulas are carried out in several stages. The intermediate productions are large carrots of different colours. First level of magic mastery: to transform a normal carrot into a giant carrot, you use the formula giantum. Beware, giantum on a normal orange carrot can produce a red giant carrot, sometimes a green giant carrot. It depends on the mastery of magic and the conditions. But beware, as we will see, magic is an unstable science. Only the big orange carrots are stable and can be stored.
