The Living Lab process to scale farmer-centric digital innovation.

Abstract : Living Labs viewed as an open innovation 2.0 instrument gained more and more popularity these past years mainly within the Agriculture and Agri-food sectors as showed by several recent European projects related to living livings and various initiatives by the French and Canadian governments respectively from 2016 and 2018. After introducing the main principles/dimensions of a Living Lab and presenting several characteristics of the living lab process and its specificity in Agriculture, some recommendations at different levels will be given related to how to scale farmer-centric digital innovation on a specific territory and towards a transition of sustainable change of practices.
