Résumé

This paper analyzes the Okun's law in France, over the 1982-2021 period. We find that the variation in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) implies a variation in unemployment with a coefficient of 1 : 3. We furthermore analyze the impact of a GDP shock on unemployment with a VAR model.
