Welcome to Hal-Inria

Hal-Inria allows to access all publications in HAL and, for Inria team members, to deposit the full text of their scientific contributions

In these difficult times due to COVID-19 pandemic, HAL pursues its mission of disseminating science. This is all the more important  that many conferences are being postponed or cancelled.
The support and moderation services remain on duty... thank you for your contribution to open science by depositing on HAL-Inria!

The government is calling for the complete opening of scientific publications and data from French research relating to Covid-19

Olivier Véran and Frédérique Vidal are calling for free and public access to publications and research data relating to the Covid-19 epidemic in France. In order to ensure the immediate dissemination of results, which is essential for rapid progress towards finding solutions, the  leaders of the projects that have been selected in the framework of the National Research Agency's "flash" call for projects, or in the framework of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health's Covid-19 accelerated procedure, are asked to make their data and results openly available to the public.

For all the projects involved, this consists of :

  • disseminating results early via open pre-publication platforms;
  • immediately depositing accepted publications in full text in an open archive (publication in open access journals is strongly encouraged);
  • sharing protocols and interim and final data in accordance with established GDPR rules;
  • setting up a data management plan, with updating and transmission to the funder.

More broadly, and within the general framework of a policy of sharing public research data according to the FAIR (Easy to Find, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles, the Ministers would like all publications, from all disciplines, that can feed research on the Covid-19 epidemic to be made publicly available.
