Abstract : The increasing interest in deploying infrastructure-less wireless networks based on ad-hoc networking raises new challenges towards monitoring and managing them to provide the optimal possible level of service. We propose in this paper a management architecture based on a filtering and graph dependency analysis in order to evaluate the behavior of mobile ad-hoc networks. We apply an analytical method based on contrast filtering to determine network traffic patterns such as routing paths and a second one based on dependency graphs to estimate node influence in the network as well as to detect misbehaving nodes.
