Abstract : We are introducing an abstract model that has been developed by Technical Committee 37 of ISO for representing computerized multilingual terminologies. . It relies on a methodology that makes an essential distinction between the general structure of a terminological database and the elementary information units (data categories) that are used to describe this structure.
