This research is part of the French-speaking Virtual Medical University (UMVF). The French medicine-educational-process does not only take place at the university but also in the hospital, at home or in an office. At home, students need to adjust their computer in order to receive and view the educational resources supplied by the virtual university. In the setup-stage, he may need some help, according to his computing qualification level. Therefore we provide him with a setup-system. We specify a reference-frame, which describe pieces of software and hardware are required in the computer, to be able to work correctly, before the student use it for studying. We choose UML for modelling the setup-system. Services concerning the management of the student computer installation and its testing have been enlightened. Those services are not supplied by any well-known WEDS.
