Vection and postural activity: application to virtual environment design

Abstract : The aim of this paper is to assess the possibility of inducing linear vection, using virtual reality device. A comparative study was therefore made between vection produced by moving a part of the visual scene and vection by induced via a virtual reality helmet displaying a specific animation.
