Abstract : This paper describes a system design approach for wireless sensor network based application that is used to monitor wildfire and evaluates the effectiveness of the solution. The main contribution of the paper is the design of a sensor network that can meet the goal of reactivity and reliability, and that demonstrates satisfactory robustness and network lifetime.
