I. Andrew, Comport received the bachelor degrees in computer science in 1997 and in computer systems engineering with honors in 2000 from Monash University, Australia. He received the PhD degree in 2005 from the University of Rennes 1, France, at IRISA/INRIA Rennes in the Lagadic research group and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France. He spent one year as a research assistant in the Intelligent Robotics Research Centre at Monash University in 2001 His research interests include real-time 3D tracking, robust statistics, nonrigid motion, visual servoing, computer vision, and the application of these techniques to robotics and augmented reality
