Abstract : This paper has two main aims. The first is to show how planning capabilities have been integrated into FrOz, a text adventure game presented in (Koller et al., 2004). Second, we demonstrate that the resulting system offers a natural laboratory for exploring the theory of enlightened update presented in (Thomason et al., 2006). In particular, we shall discuss how this theory applies in a setup with incomplete background knowledge.
