Probabilistic feasibility analysis of messages with variable jitter on CAN
Résumé
We consider periodic messages with activation jitters that are scheduled on a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus. We propose two probabilistic analyses, each of them provides probability distributions of message response times where the activation jitter of messages is given by independent random variables. The first analysis gives the probability of having the worst-case response time and the second analysis the distribution of the average response time.
