Abstract : This report presents a new solution to the issue of the temporal coherence of a non-photorealistic style during the animation of a 3D scene. This solution used "infinitly zoomable" solid textures in order to depict the medium of the stylization. After a detailed study of previous approaches to generate this 2D illusion of infinit zoom, new methods are described in the bi- and tridimensional cases. Finally various NPR styles are proposed to illustrate the quality, efficiency and simplicity of this approach.
