CAP: A Hierarchical Lexical Function Related to Proper Nouns: The Case of Romanian and French

Abstract : We present a project aiming at the extension of a proper name multilingual ontology, by the linguistic description of a hierarchy-founding relation, named Cap. The linguistic properties of this relation are identified by collecting data from multilingual parallel corpora. We focus here on the data analysis for Romanian and French.
