A Multi-Objective Optimization Environment for Ship-Hull Design Based on a BEM-Isogeometric Solver

Abstract : We present a ship-hull optimization environment integrating modern opti- mization techniques, a parametric ship-hull model and a novel BEM solver for the cal- culation of ship wave resistance. The environment is tested for a pair of optimization scenarios (local/global) for a container ship.
