Improvement of Civil Works Health Management : EDF's Global Strategy and major advances between 2008 and 2013

Abstract : EDF owns different types of civil works : some are of classical design (office buildings for example) and others are of particular design (reactor containment, cooling towers, dams..). In order to improve the monitoring of each of these structures, EDF R&D takes part in many national and international projects. This article sums up the major results obtained in these projects since 2008.
