Abstract : Improving the visual appearance of today virtual character of video-games or cinema involves the use of geometry, computer science and a classical theorem of calculus. In this paper, we apply the well known divergence theorem to the field of computer graphics to certify that a virtual character can be deformed while having a constant internal volume during the animation.
