Dimensão didática da relação ao saber matemático. Um estudo exploratório com professores que atuam no ensino fundamental do Cabo de Santo Agostinho (Pernambuco-Brasil)

Abstract : In this article, we present some results of the thesis Relation whit the mathematical knowledge of the brazilians teachers who work in elementary school: an exploratory study in Cabo de Santo Agostinho (Pernambuco - Brazil). In this research we investigate the psychic, sociological and didactic characteristics of the relation between the knowledge of the teachers who teach mathematics from the 1st to the 5th year of elementary school in the brazilian education system. However, the purpose of this publication is to discuss the didactic characteristics of the relationship between teacher and mathematics. The construction of the research data was carried out through the application of questionnaires and simple selfconfrontation interviews with 32 teachers from municipal public schools in the MetropolitanRegion of Recife. The reports recorded in these research instruments were analyzed based on the assumptions of discourse analysis and statistical analysis. With regard to the didactic characteristics, from the relation to the mathematical knowledge of the participating teachers, the results suggest the predominance of psychic and social factors. In this case, we can infer that in assuming the position of teacher of mathematics, the didactics of these professionals is of a more institutional character than personal, due to the subjections to which they submit daily.
