User Interface Prototyping for Handheld Mobile Augmented Reality Applications

Abstract : We introduce MockAR, a prototyping application for designing user interfaces for mobile handheld Augmented Reality, to be used by non-programming media designers. It has been successfully employed in the project SPIRIT, which develops location-based AR storytelling for outdoor historical sites, including complex interaction and navigation features based on mobile phone sensors and markerless image recognition.
