Abstract : The specifications of types [u]intmax_t and extended integer types lack to provide the extensibility feature for which they are designed. As a consequence existing "64 bit" implementations are not able to add standard conforming interfaces to their 128 bit or 256 bit integer types without breaking ABI compatibility.
