Abstract : This paper presents the design and the comparison of three Galois lattices of topological relations for qualitative spatial representation and reasoning. The lattices rely on a correspondence between computational operations working on quantitative data and topological relations working on qualitative knowledge units. After introducing the context of the present research work, three sets of computational operations and the associated Galois lattices are presented. These Galois lattices are then compared and elements on the practical use of the lattices for representing spatial knowledge and reasoning are given.
