This paper presents the basic concepts for integrating online data into distributed maintenance applications as an example for the integration approach as developed within the PROTEUS framework. The results presented are part of and driven by the requirements on the PROTEUS project, which consists in designing and modeling of a distributed network oriented platform for integration of maintenance applications.
