A reconstruction of Merritt's Brocot table (1947)

Résumé

Merritt's table gives a list of all fractions between 0 and 1, whose denominator does not exceed 100, and arranged in decreasing order. Such a table is useful for finding rational equivalents, especially when designing gear trains. It is reconstructed here.
