Controllable motion lines generation for an abstracted depiction of 3D motion.

Abstract

Based on a user input motion hierarchy (left), our method allows the artist to generate motion lines depicting sub-motions. Here, we show two types of motion lines, generated from the same input animation depicting the translation (middle) or the rotation (right) of a spinning top.
