A time domain analysis of PML models in acoustics.

Abstract : We present in this paper a time-domain analysis of PML's for non-advective and advective acoustics. We focus our attention on time-stability and error estimates (with respect to the parameters of the layers). The main new technical tool is the Cagniard-de Hoop method. Our theoretical results are validated and illustrated by various numerical results.
