Abstract: New techniques of "model-free control'' are applied to throttles, which are valves that directly regulate the amount of air entering the engines. Our numerical simulations may be favorably compared to a flatness-based linear predictive control, where a precise mathematical model is needed. Some details of the implementation are provided.
