A Thermal System Based on Controlled Entropy for Treatment of Medical Waste by Solar Energy

Abstract : This article discusses the implementation of a large scale way of urban waste management in terms of its non-aggressive and productive destination, at low energy costs and with high reuse of byproducts. Aiming at the processing of medical waste, but not excluding other types of residues, present work is primarily focused on the so-called infectious waste, because they have greater virulence, infectivity and concentration, and wastes of type “skin-scissoring-piercing”, which are objects and instruments containing corners, edges or rigid and acute protuberances capable of cutting or drilling. In this paper, it is proposed an industrial solar system to recycling medical waste based on pyrolysis induced by plasma and controlled entropy.
